According to reports, AC Milan are attempting to secure the permanent signing of Brahim Diaz and have met with one of his intermediaries.

According to Calciomercato.com, intermediary Edoardo Crnjar arrived this afternoon at the Casa Milan headquarters amid a ‘tug of war’ between Milan and Real Madrid over the Spanish playmaker.

Brahim contributed an assist and scored a goal in Milan’s 4-0 win over Napoli on Sunday, and he hopes to extend his stay at the club beyond his loan deal, which expires at the end of the season.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are discussing the possibility of resuming negotiations with Real Madrid to re-discuss the amount for the permanent purchase, aiming for a discount on the €22m envisaged in the verbal agreement reached two years ago.
