A former Preston North End midfielder is tasked with finding a new club this summer following his release.
Former Preston North End midfielder Josh Harrop is a free agent once again after his contract at Cheltenham Town wasn’t renewed.
The 28-year-old joined the Robins on a short-term deal on January 22 but he won’t be staying at Whaddon Road following their relegation from League One. He made 13 appearances after joining but 12 of those were as a substitute and he was unused in their final two matches.
Harrop was a free agent for six months before joining Cheltenham Town after being released by Northampton Town. He had been training with Cheltenham and was one of Darrell Clarke’s first signings, with the Gloucestershire outfit undeterred by him only playing twice for the Cobblers.
