Club insider confirms Tottenham transfer progressing smoothly as deal nears completion
Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to prioritise outgoings in the final week of the ongoing summer transfer window as Daniel Levy looks to make way for new faces with surplus sales and deadwood cleared.
The club has done a wonderful job in both departments this off-season, but the work is not yet done, and there is still a lot to question, think about, and conclude.
One such dilemma is the future of Israeli winger Manor Solomon.
Manor Solomon set for Leeds United loan move
The Lilywhites signed the 25-year-old on a highly controversial free transfer; however, Solomon has not been able to replicate the headlines that he garnered for the move with his performances. Injuries have proved to be a major hurdle keeping him from proving his potential at White Hart Lane, and the fast-paced growth of the club under Ange Postecoglou means that he may have missed the train to the next station, and his journey in North London may come to a conclusion.

The Tottenham attacker has already been linked with a move away from the N17, with Championship side Leeds United looking to snap his services before the window comes to an end. Leeds are looking to bring Manor on a season-long loan move to Elland Road.
And per senior transfer correspondent at Football Insider, Paul O’Keefe, everything is going as per plans for the transfer to come to the announcement stage soon.
Best way forward for all
For Spurs, it is ideal for the club to give Solomon the time and space to get back to his optimum fitness regime before deciding whether to keep him or sell his services.

And from Solomon’s point of view, he would be making the move with hunger and fire in his belly to prove his worth to Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou.
