The Moroccan attacking midfielder has joined in a £20m switch from Genk, signing ahead of deadline day, and could make his debut against Aston Villa this weekend
Leicester City have significantly boosted their attacking options ahead of transfer deadline day with Bilal El Khannouss confirmed as their eighth signing of the summer.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder joins in a deal from Genk worth around £20m, and adds a creative spark to Steve Cooper’s City attack. Joining on a four-year contract, El Khannouss should be available to make his debut against Aston Villa this weekend.
El Khannouss arrives as one of the hottest young talents around Europe. He ranked among the best players in the Belgian top flight last season for shot-creating actions and progressive passes, finishing the campaign with eight assists.
