Daniel Levy turn all attention away from Julian Nagelsmann to world class Manager

Arne Slot of Feyenoord has been widely linked with Tottenham Hotspur in recent times.

With Spurs no longer interested in Julian Nagelsmann, Slot appears to be the favourite for the N17 vacancy.

There has been a lot of conjecture linking Tottenham to the 44-year-old Dutchman.

According to Vandaag Inside, as related by Fr12.nl, Spurs recently invited Slot for a conversation.

The Telegraph stated last week that Spurs “will speak to” the Dutchman, implying that negotiations had begun.

Slot has also been “highly recommended” to Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, according to the article.

With so much speculation circulating, the Dutch media has been keeping a close eye on matters as well.

After all, Slot is the manager of the newly crowned Eredivisie champions and has been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Former PSV Eindhoven and Netherlands midfielder Ibrahim Afellay believes Tottenham may get Slot to join them.

“If that club applies, you’d have to be a big boy to refuse,” he stated on Studio Voetbal, which was transmitted by Feyenoord Pings and reported by Sport Witness.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he leaves at that point.” Tottenham Hotspur is a fantastic club, unlike Southampton or Aston Villa.

“At Feyenoord, Slot pushed himself to the limit, getting more out than in.” Do you think he’ll make it to the Champions League final?

Afellay has a valid argument. Slot may believe he has reached his limit at Feyenoord, having led them to the title.

Obviously, they will play in the Champions League next season, and he may want to push for back-to-back crowns.

However, the pull of the Premier League, one of the best in the world, has previously turned many minds.

Slot has been dubbed one of the world’s top coaches, a “ultra-attacking” “maniac” of a manager who has built a “wonderful attacking machine.”

Meanwhile, Tottenham is a club with a lot of promise, with a world-class stadium that could need a team to match its talent and class.
