Leicester City will be hoping to get their first win of the Premier League season following the international break.
Leicester City’s start to the season has been tough for Steve Cooper’s side, with just one point on the board so far.
They have had a difficult run of games to kick off their season, and they did fairly well to get a point from Tottenham Hotspur, whilst they were unlucky to not get anything from the clash with Aston Villa.
They will be disappointed with their performance on the road against Fulham, however the Leicestershire side have a massive opportunity to right-the-wrongs of the start of the season, with the next five fixtures appearing to be more favourable.
It will be a stern test for Cooper in order to ensure his side’s safety this season in the Premier League, and the following fixtures for The Foxes will significantly dictate whether the side are prepared to battle this season.
Leicester City next five fixtures
Leicester jump straight into action following the international break as they face a trip to Crystal Palace in a 3pm Saturday kick-off, with the Foxes welcoming Everton to the King Power a week later.
The most difficult upcoming test for Cooper’s side will be an away clash against Arsenal, however that is followed up by a home game against Bournemouth.
Southampton will await the Foxes for the fifth fixture for Cooper at St Mary’s.
Which games are winnable for Leicester City
Looking at the two home fixtures for Leicester, both are undoubtedly games that Cooper must be targeting as massive opportunities to get points on the board.
Despite not being able to tally a win yet in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, Leicester have already put in respectable performances at home against tough opposition, and there is every chance that they can better that with extra points.
An away visit to the south coast to face Southampton also looks like a glaring opportunity for Leicester City as well, particularly as the fellow recently-promoted Championship side is yet to get a single point this season and have found the back of the net just once.
A trip to Crystal Palace could be difficult for Cooper’s side, however there is certainly no writing off the Foxes from coming away from the game with something, whilst the away game against Arsenal will prove to be a massive challenge for Leicester, and just a respectable performance could be enough in order to prepare them for games they are more likely to come away with a win.
