‘Kaizer Chiefs only at 20%’ says Nasreddine Nabi

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi says more is expected from his team as the season progresses.

The Tunisian tactician has so far won two of his Betway Premiership matches. This is the first time in five seasons that Amakhosi started the league campaign with two wins. Despite the win, Kaizer Chiefs coach says the team still has a long way to go.

Speaking after his team’s 3-1 win over AmaZulu, Nabi admitted he was not happy with his team currently.

“Honestly, I’m not happy, I’m not happy,” said Kaizer Chiefs coach Nabi. “I am at 20% of what I imagine, Kaizer Chiefs.”

“If you win, you are happy, but for myself, as a coach, I have another responsibility. I have another eye, another thing. Inside, I’m not happy about some things. In other things, we progress, and it’s normal. But we are sure we will come back. I don’t know what time, but we will come back.”

The Tunisian coach faces his biggest task yet when his side host Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon.

“All of Africa and myself, we respect Mamelodi Sundowns. It’s a great team, and I congratulate the coach on the place they reached in Africa,” he said as per FARPost.
