Leeds United take on Norwich City on Tuesday night in the first meeting between the two sides since Leeds knocked Norwich out of the Championship play-offs last May.
Leeds drew 0-0 against Norwich in their last visit to Carrow Road in the first leg of the play-off semi-finals, before smashing the Canaries with a 4-0 win at home. Leeds beat Norwich twice in the regular season.
Daniel Farke guided Leeds to a 90-point haul last season and in being beaten by Southampton, became the first side to accumulate that total in the Championship but fail to be promoted to the Premier League.
The two sides are far different this time around. Norwich have a new manager and have lost both Gabriel Sara and Jonathan Rowe since last facing Leeds, while The Whites have also sold a number of key players.
Norwich currently sit in tenth place after an indifferent start to the season, while Leeds have five clean sheets in their last six league games and climbed to fifth after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Coventry.

It is the third time that Farke will return to Carrow Road following his exit from the East Anglian club in 2021. In his fifth appearance as manager against his old side, he will be hoping for a fourth Leeds win.
Speaking ahead of the meeting between Farke and his old side, current Norwich boss Thorup told The Pink’Un that Farke should command respect from Norwich fans and described him as a “fantastic” boss.
“I can feel he is a figure where a lot still talk about him, and what he did here. To win two Championships and to be promoted to the Premier League, with a style that was entertaining, fans appreciated that.
“A great coach, what he did here was fantastic. He’ll get the respect that he deserves. I hope people show him respect. I will make sure we don’t respect his team that much when the game starts. That’s my job.”

Farke will be hunting down a third promotion from The Championship this season and indeed, a third Championship title having come so close last season and sparkled in the second tier as Norwich boss.

For all the adulation he gets from Norwich fans and rightly so given the two Championship titles he won as Canaries manager, Farke has actually won more games by percentage than he did while at Norwich.
Hopefully, that comes to fruition this season and Farke can boast three Championship promotions on his CV. When he does get back to the Premier League, he will need more than 12% to stay in the top tier.
