Deal in progress as Nottingham Forest set to raid rivals to sign electrifying striker

Nottingham Forest are connected with a move for Southampton striker Che Adams, according to NottinghamshireLive.

Forest were connected with the Leicester-born forward last year and, according to talkSPORT, are ready to make a summer move for him. According to reports, head coach Steve Cooper is still a “big admirer” of the Scotland international.

Adams has five goals and three assists in 28 Premier League games this season, while he scored seven in 30 last season. While he does not score many goals, he is an important player to have in the forward line.

Adams has been one of Southampton’s few bright spots this season, so other clubs are sure to be interested in him. It remains to be seen whether any other parties will follow suit.

This summer, Steve Cooper will be looking to add strikers to his roster. The strikers in the squad are Taiwo Awoniyi, Sam Surridge, Emmanuel Dennis, and Andre Ayew. Ayew’s contract expires this summer.
