Brentford ‘favourite’ to land Serie A star – Idea gaining prominence ahead of January window

Brentford are no strangers to signing players from Denmark and it seems as if they could land another one in the next few months.

Genoa’s Morten Frendrup is a name that has been linked with Liverpool in recent months, with the player himself having spoken about the Anfield side.

TMW now state that the idea of him playing in England soon enough is gaining traction. Brentford are the ‘favourite’ in the Premier League to land the midfielder, according to the report.

The same report relays more information from Gazzetta dello Sport about the midfielder, stating that Milan are also an interested party and they want to sign another player to bolster their options in the heart of the park soon enough.
