Leicester City star Abdul Fatawu impressed for the Foxes despite defeat to Man United.
The Foxes now sit 15th in the current Premier League table after a difficult showing against a prolific Man United side that was able to knock three past Steve Cooper’s side in a game that finished 3-0.
Leicester City, as said by Cooper, had a lack of desire in their play and the majority of players within the ranks couldn’t quite make a difference at Old Trafford.
Left-back Victor Kristiansen is a notable name that struggled to deal with the threat of Amad Diallo at right-wing for the hosts, where he and others played a part in the game that saw Leicester fans once again question Cooper’s set-up.
The silver lining for Leicester City was the impeccable showing by Abdul Fatawu, who was able to get the better of Diogo Dalot on countless occasions. His performance took many by surprise, and has as a result gained plaudits from both Leicester and Man United fans.
Leicester City and Man United fans react to ‘outstanding’ Abdul Fatawu performance

Many fans took to X to show their support for Fatawu’s showing, including one Leicester fan, who suggested that ‘he was outstanding today! Only positive from today though’.
Man United fans also heaped praise on the 20-year-old Ghanaian international, with one suggesting that he was a ‘great player’, whilst another said that ‘this guy is a demon’. The praise continued for Fatawu, as one Man United fan said that he was ‘probably the only Leicester player trying to create chances’, whilst another suggested that ‘[Diogo Dalot] was getting eaten alive by Fatawu’.
