Tottenham Hotspur plotting to make shocking £25m double transfer deal this summer

According to the Spanish publication Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, Tottenham Hotspur are planning to buy Sevilla star Yassine Bounou in the forthcoming transfer window.

It has been widely reported that Tottenham Hotspur are trying to replace Hugo Lloris by signing a new goalkeeper this summer. They’ve been linked with a few players in recent months, including David Raya, Alex Meret, and Jordan Pickford. However, Bounou is said to be on their radar as well.

This season, the 32-year-old has had a fantastic season, assisting Sevilla in winning the Europa League. In addition, he led Morocco to the semi-finals of the Qatar World Cup before losing to France last year.

So, it appears that the African’s remarkable exploits for club and nation have piqued the interest of several major European clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham have shown a serious interest in Bounou, according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, and could make a formal attempt to sign him in the coming weeks.

According to the source, Sevilla want at least £26 million to let their star player depart, and Spurs want to give Bryan Gil in a part-exchange deal plus ‘a tiny amount of money’ to seal Bounou’s signature.

Gil spent the previous season on loan at the Estadio Ramon Sánchez Pizjuan and was an integral component of Sevilla’s triumph under Jose Luis Mendilibar. As a result, Los Rojiblancos may be interested in re-signing the teenager.

It has previously been reported that Manchester United have indicated an interest in signing Bounou. However, it appears that they will have other priorities before bringing in a new goalkeeper this summer. As a result, Spurs may be able to get Bounou before the Reds.

The 32-year-old, who is 6ft 2in tall, is superb aerially, comfortable playing out from the back, a brilliant shot-stopper, can play the sweeper keeper role, and is also effective in penalty saving.

As a result, if Tottenham decides to add Bounou to their goalkeeping roster this summer, he would be an outstanding addition.
