Bayern Munich has officially announced the signing of Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig on a free transfer.
Laimer, whose contract with Leipzig has ended, has signed a contract extension with the German champions until 2027.
“We are overjoyed to have landed Konrad Laimer.” He joins us as a two-time DFB Cup champion, and together, we hope to enjoy many successes and trophies here at FC Bayern,” said FC Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.
“It’s a dream come true to be a part of FC Bayern, one of the world’s premier clubs,” Konrad Laimer said of his decision to join the Allianz Arena. I will offer everything I have for the team and the supporters.
“FC Bayern, like me, always strives for the highest goals.” I’m in the ideal situation. From the start, I shall give everything I have to every training session. “I can hardly contain my excitement.”
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder, who joined Leipzig from Salzburg in 2017, has 190 competitive matches under his belt, with 15 goals and 19 assists to his name.
