Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has been shortlisted for a role with a new club.

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is surprisingly linked with African giants.

Meaning, they could launch a bid for the Amakhosi coach in January. Here’s the latest.

CHIEFS COACH LINKED WITH AFRICAN GIANTS

Nabi is one of the five men shortlisted for the Raja Casablanca job, according to Briefly.

So, if they sack their current coach, Ricardo Pinto, then they could make a sensational bid for Chiefs’ head coach.

Interestingly, former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer is also linked with the job. In fact, he is the frontrunner for the job.

Moreover, amidst links, Zinnbauer has been spotted in Casablanca. Meanwhile, as mentioned, Nabi is their second choice if the deal falls through.

NABI FRUSTRATED

Currently, Nabi is a frustrated man.

He recently complained about the officiating. Furthermore, he also lashed out at his own players as they struggle for form.

“I still talk about referees but today ah, ey. Back on television, I talked to the PSL to analyze our situation. We (today) should have awarded two penalties and I think my left-back Bradley Cross is out, where is the card? No red card, It is unacceptable,”

“If I lose, I lose because I’m bad and that’s football but I don’t like to lose like that. I wouldn’t say I like to lose because of the referees. I wouldn’t say I like it and it is not the first time. Look at the action with Cross, look today after you go home, maybe he will be out for two months, it’s unacceptable,” he added.

“I respect the opponent, I respect the referees but give me the respect that I deserve. Fifa’s laws say that referees should protect players. How many players will go to hospital? I am not talking about protecting myself because I lost, but the players, it’s unacceptable,” he concluded on Goal.
