“Springboks and Ireland Face World Rankings Disaster in Latest Shake-Up”

The World Rankings are set for a shake up at the top with the Springboks and Ireland most affected. Take note NZ and France.

The Rugby World Rankings will see some movement with both the Springboks and Ireland affected.

The Springboks are on top of the latest World Rankings.

Meanwhile, rivals Ireland sit second with New Zealand in third and the France in fourth. Interestingly, all of these sides have the opportunity to earn points in several tests by July next year – except the Boks.

WORLD RANKINGS MOVEMENTS OUT OF BOKS CONTROL

The Six Nations kicks off in February with Ireland playing several test matches that could improve their overall test rankings points total.

Thereafter, in July, the Springboks host Italy and Georgia. Whilst, Ireland will not be involved due to the 2025 British & Irish Lion series in Australia.

Meaning, regardless of the margin of victory, Rassie Erasmus’ Boks cannot extend their lead in July.

However, Ireland can close the gap in February and March during the Six Nations.

OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS FOR ALL BLACKS AND FRANCE

Furthermore, the All Blacks play hosts to France with both sides set to play for key ranking points in the latest chapter of this storied rivalry. The amount of points at stake will be determined by how the French do in the six nations.

Although, it must be noted that with the Springboks and Ireland unable to add to their tally, come June, there is a big chance for both NZ and France to close the gap.

Therefore, Bok fans will be watching this test series and every Ireland test in the Six nations closely.

WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN THE SIX NATIONS? WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN THE TEST SERIES BETWEEN THE ALL BLACKS AND FRANCE? DO YOU THINK THE SPRINGBOKS WILL MAINTAIN THEIR DOMINANCE IN 2025?
