Nottingham Forest have announce pre-season futures as club set for two strong battles

West Ham United and Rennes have announced a pre-season friendly at Roazhon Park on Saturday, July 29th at 6pm CEST. The side managed by Bruno Genesio is used to hosting a Premier League club for pre-season friendlies. Rennes lost 2-1 to Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa at Roazhon Park last year. West Ham have never faced Rennes before, but Moroccan international centre-back Nayef Aguerd (27) will be returning to his previous club, having made 79 appearances for the Brittany side during a two-year tenure before joining West Ham last summer.

West Ham and Rennes may meet again in the Europa League this season, as both teams qualified for the league. The David Moyes-led squad secured their place in the Europa Conference League, while Rennes finished fourth in Ligue 1. Rennes will go to England for a five-day pre-season training camp at St George’s Park National Football Centre two days after meeting the Hammers. Stade Rennais will meet Nottingham Forest FC at St George’s Park on Wednesday, August 2nd, at 7pm BST. Rennes will travel to Molineux three days later to play Wolves in their last preseason encounter.
