Although NBA free agency has not yet begun, numerous teams are allegedly interested in Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams.
After the Celtics make him a $6.2 million qualifying offer, the 24-year-old will be a restricted free agent this summer. However, there is no assurance he will remain in Boston. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, and Dallas Mavericks have all expressed interest in Williams.
The Magic have a youthful team and a lot of salary space, so it makes sense that they’re looking for Williams. They could certainly pay the two-time SEC Player of the Year more than the Celtics, who are close to locking up much of their money in extensions for studs Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

Indiana, like Orlando, missed the playoffs last season and is in the process of rebuilding. During the 2022-23 season, the Pacers allowed the second-most points per game in the NBA, making Williams’ 3-and-D abilities extremely appealing.
