Winners of the UEFA Conference League West Ham are currently in talks with Juventus to sign Denis Zakaria on a permanent basis.
Zakaria had a disappointing loan spell with Chelsea last season and has already returned to his parent club, although he is anticipated to be moved on. Juve had previously traded Dejan Kulusevski on a permanent basis after he returned to the Bianconeri following a loan spell with Tottenham.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, West Ham have previously spoken to Juventus about Zakaria, and the two teams have made two bids for the Swiss midfielder. Because Chelsea did not exercise their option to acquire him this summer, the footballer is likely to return to England on a permanent basis.
Zakaria made 11 appearances for Chelsea and played 722 minutes of first-team football. He joined Juventus from Borussia Monchengladbach in January 2022, but was quickly loaned out to Chelsea on the summer transfer deadline in 2022.
