All verbal agreement reach as Tottenham set to make third summer signing within 48hrs

Tottenham have verbally agreed to sign Manor Solomon.

Tottenham Hotspur have achieved a verbal agreement to recruit talented teenage attacker Manor Solomon on a free transfer, according to prominent Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Personal arrangements between the player and the club have been agreed upon, according to Romano’s tweet, with a medical assessment slated for next week. If all goes as planned, Solomon will wear the legendary Lilywhite jersey next season.

Spurs’ interest in the Israeli winger was peaked during his loan time at Fulham, where he demonstrated his excellent skills on the pitch. The club’s decision-makers were so delighted by his performances that they moved quickly to sign him.

Due to FIFA’s rules surrounding foreign nationals working in Ukraine and Russia, the possibility to sign Solomon arose. Solomon’s current club, Shakhtar Donetsk, was enraged by FIFA’s decision to enable players to unilaterally suspend their contracts due to the ongoing crisis between the two countries.

This rule change provided an opportunity for Tottenham to come in and sign the brilliant winger. Daniel Levy is just too astute an operator to pass on such a transfer market chance.

Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin underlined his disgust with the situation, threatening Tottenham with legal action if the signing went ahead. However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy was unfazed.

All eyes will be on Palkin to see if he follows through on his threats now that personal terms have been agreed upon. Nonetheless, Tottenham fans are ecstatic with the prospect of seeing Manor Solomon’s flair and creativity on the pitch.

The Israeli winger’s ability to dazzle opponents with his technical talents and lightning-quick pace could prove decisive for the Lilywhites. He brings a new dimension to our attack.
