Tottenham Hotspur has made strong contact to sign magic defender as Napoli also keeping eagle eyes

According to rumours, Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with Wolves defender Max Kilman and may hijack Napoli’s move for him.

Ange Postecoglou’s new Tottenham Hotspur team has made significant moves in summer transfer window, signing Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, and, soon, former Fulham loanee Manor Solomon.

Vicario, who joined from Empoli for £17.2 million, might replace the likely departing Hugo Lloris, who has openly stated his desire to leave this summer. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, and if all goes well, Lloris’ 11-year association with Tottenham will come to an end.

TUTTOmercatoWEB and journalist Raimondo De Magistris claim Tottenham have entered the race for Kilman.

De Magistris stated on Twitter:

“After Napoli, Tottenham is on the lookout for Max Kilman, a central midfielder born in 1997.”

“I’ve made a lot of contacts in the last few days.” Wolves have already turned down a 35 million euro offer from Napoli and believe he is worth more than 40 million.”

De Magistris also writes in his TMW column that Napoli are “stuck” on the rejected bid while Tottenham move in for Wolves’ star defender.

“Napoli is stuck on the rejected offer for the time being, and Kilman is now evaluating other opportunities,” the reporter explained.

“His top priority would be to keep his place in the Premier League.” Keep an eye on Tottenham, who are seeking for a couple of center defenders for next season.

“It is not the only English club interested in the London center, but it is the one with the most current contacts.”
