Tottenham finally pushing hard to sign premier League star as deal to be completed in few hours

Since joining Manchester United, Sancho has struggled to repeat his form from Borussia Dortmund in the Premier League, scoring only 12 goals in 79 games.

The former Borussia Dortmund player has been linked with a summer move to Tottenham, with various reports claiming the North London club is interested in him.

Ben Jacobs previously indicated that while he is not on the list of players Manchester United want to sell this summer, they may consider it if an offer of £50m-£60m is made.

And Jacobs has now provided the most recent update on Tottenham’s interest in the player. According to him, Tottenham has contacted Manchester United to inquire about the player’s availability.

“Tottenham have made an enquiry about Jadon Sancho.” I’m not aware if they’ve gone any further than that at this point.

“They’ve also gotten some good other business done now, quite early in the window, including James Maddison.”

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, with earlier reports saying that manager Erik ten Hag has made him his top transfer priority.

To deter competitor interest, Daniel Levy put a £100 million price tag on him. Manchester United has since dropped its interest due to the high price tag, since they cannot afford to spend so much on him due to Financial Fair Play guidelines.

However, it was rumored last week that they may offer Tottenham Hotspur a cash + Sancho deal in order to persuade the club to sell their star striker.

While Tottenham’s interest in Sancho is still in its early stages, it remains to be seen how Manchester United would respond and whether they will attempt to convince Tottenham to add Harry Kane in any prospective trade.
