The rumor has already reached the Danish press, with Ekstra Bladet reporting that the centre-back is set to depart Galatasaray after two successful years in Istanbul.
The player is said to be garnering envious eyes from England and has decided to pursue a fresh challenge in the Premier League.
According to the publication, Spurs and Wovles are now dominating the fight for the 24-year-old’s signature.
Nelsson is claimed to favor a move to the Lilywhites, but Galatasaray are said to be insisting that his €25 million (£21.3 million) release clause be paid.
