Leeds United are likely to hijack an AC Milan striker as a Saudi transfer link emerges.
Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia has joined Leeds United in their pursuit of Divock Origi.
Steven Gerrard, manager of Premier League club Al-Ettifaq, wants to offer the 28-year-old “huge money” to join him.
If a deal is reached, the ex-Liverpool striker will be reunited with Jordan Henderson, who is on the verge of a £700,000-per-week move to the Saudi Pro League.
Crystal Palace and West Ham are also rumoured to be interested in the striker, but a high-value offer from Saudi Arabia appears impossible to turn down.
Origi presently plays for AC Milan, and with three years remaining on his contract, the Rossoneri are apparently looking to unload the Belgian after he was left out of the Rossoneri’s pre-season tour of the United States.
