Wizkid will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend. On Saturday (July 29), the Nigerian singer will perform in front of a London audience at the venue.
The Grammy award-winning singer, who rose to prominence in the music industry with his Afrobeat-style compositions, has also collaborated with Drake and Justin Bieber. Earlier this year, the singer announced that his More Love, Less Ego international tour would stop in the capital.
Wizkid spoke to MixMag ahead of his forthcoming gig at the venue about the support he has received to get where he is. “It’s not just me,” he told the publication. It is the fans who support the music and culture. We did it all together.”
Wizkid’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be his largest in the city to date. He has already performed at the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena, and will perform in front of around 63,000 fans at the stadium this weekend.
