Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez is poised to turn down a move to Spartak Moscow in order to investigate other options.
According to The Guardian, Spurs have accepted a bid worth roughly £10.2 million plus add-ons from the Russian club.
This summer, Sanchez has been extensively linked with a move away from Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou attempts to reshape his defense.
However, The Athletic reported on Tuesday that the 27-year-old was having second thoughts about moving to Russia. And it appears like Sanchez will pass on a move to Moscow in favor of waiting for a fresh opportunity.
Spartak Moscow is expected to be rejected by Sanchez.
According to the Guardian, the Premier League would’strongly discourage’ its clubs from doing business with Russian clubs.
Spurs reportedly ‘raised eyebrows’ after accepting a proposal from Spartak Moscow for Sanchez.
However, the centre-back is expected to decline the move in order to investigate other options.
