Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to pay £20 million to buy Tyler Adams from Leeds United during the summer transfer window.
TEAMTalk revealed in June that Liverpool is among the clubs interested in signing Tyler Adams from Leeds United during the summer transfer window.
West Ham United have also been connected with Adams, who was rated by his Leeds colleague Luke Ayling as “outstanding” in December 2022.
Adams’ contract at Leeds has a relegation clause, according to The Athletic.
The West Yorkshire club will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.
Adams has a relegation release clause of £20 million, the same amount that Leeds paid to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022 to sign the USA international midfielder, according to the report.
Tyler Adams of Leeds United should be pursued by Liverpool.
If Liverpool is willing to pay £20 million to recruit Tyler Adams from Leeds United, we believe the Merseyside club must act.
West Ham and Aston Villa are both interested in Adams.
For £20 million, the American would be a bargain signing for any club in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old demonstrated his talent last season and was one of Leeds’ top players before to his injury.
Adams has shown his worth in the Premier League.
And, with only 24 years old, the American can only grow and improve in the next years.
Adams, whose 2022-23 season was cut short due to injury, appeared 24 times in the Premier League and twice in the FA Cup for Leeds last season.
We believe that with Adams on the team, Liverpool would be a better team.
