Tottenham has moved ahead of AS Monaco in the hunt to sign Tosin Adarabioyo.
Tottenham Hotspur are edging out AS Monaco in the fight to sign Fulham’s outstanding center-back Tosin Adarabioyo, according to French daily Foot Mercato.
For quite some time, the brilliant young centre-back has been bouncing between Tottenham and AS Monaco. He appeared to be close to the North London club at first, but the French side appeared to have pushed ahead.
Tottenham are now back in the driver’s seat for the gifted footballer, according to reports. Ange Postecoglou’s team will go to any length to sign the talented centre-back.
Spurs are interested in Tosin Adarabioyo for a variety of reasons. His contract situation with the Cottagers makes him an appealing possibility because the club could recruit a defensive reinforcement on the cheap.

Monaco are not about to give up without a fight. Adarabioyo will undoubtedly want to make the best professional decision possible, and having played in the Premier League, he may want to join Tottenham.
However, there could be a scheduling difficulty at Tottenham. The team is expected to sign high-profile defenders this summer, and Adarabioyo could be a first or second rotational option.
We still don’t know how Fulham will approach the sale of Adarabioyo. He makes a lot of sense if we get him to the right value. Let’s see how things proceed.
