Tottenham reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest goal machine in few days

Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be’very, very credible’ in their pursuit of Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson.

The arrival of Ange Postecoglou has increased the level of excitement around the club. The Australian has brought offensive football back to Spurs, and there are high expectations for the upcoming season.

Tottenham have around three weeks remaining in the transfer window to boost their squad, and journalist Ryan Taylor claims on GiveMeSport that Johnson is a definite target for Postecoglou.

Tottenham’s interest in Brennan Johnson is’very, very credible,’ according to sources.

Tottenham have been connected with a number of forwards in recent weeks, including Brennan Johnson.

Last season, the 22-year-old Nottingham Forest forward scored 10 goals in all competitions for the Reds. He’s a superb young talent who has been on the run.

Brentford have already had a club-record bid for Johnson rejected, with the Daily Mail reporting he is worth an eye-watering £50 million this summer.

Nobody knows whether Tottenham will pay that much right now, but Taylor claims the interest is genuine.

“That said, if Kane leaves, I know Johnson isn’t the same type of player as him, but I think Tottenham will have to sign more diverse attacking options,” he remarked. That, I believe, will be the best approach to deal with Kane’s departure.

“From what I understand, their interest in Johnson is actually very, very credible.”

“However, other clubs are interested in Johnson, including Brentford, which had a club record £35 million bid rejected.” However, there are other Premier League clubs interested in Johnson.

“So I think that could be one to watch.”

Johnson is an extremely gifted player.

Last season, the 22-year-old made his debut in the English Premier League and finished in double figures, which is really outstanding.

Johnson has three years remaining on his Forest contract after signing a new one a year ago. That is why their valuation is so high, and they have every right to demand the charge.

However, we don’t think Tottenham will pay £50 million for him this month.
