Boston Celtics finally made signing to compete for a two way deal

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics have signed point guard DJ Steward to a camp contract, potentially filling their third and last open two-way roster spot.

Steward, a former Duke five-star prospect, put up a good showing in the NBA’s 2023 Las Vegas Summer League, exhibiting his playmaking ability and flashing signals that he might develop into a role player at the next level. While hardly a huge addition for the Celtics, given that the former Blue Devil is unlikely to make the team’s regular season roster, Steward might provide valuable depth to Boston.
