Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Giovani Lo Celso may not leave the club this summer, according to a report.
The Times have reported that Giovani Lo Celso has impressed Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou and looks “likely to stay
Giovani Lo Celso could stay at Tottenham Hotspur and work under Ange Postecoglou
There was speculation earlier this summer that Lo Celso was on his way out of Tottenham.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti told GiveMeSport in July 2023 that the 27-year-old “is not part of Spurs’ plans and the English club have put him on the market again with the hope this time of being able to sell him on a permanent deal”.
Barcelona and Aston Villa were linked with £100,000-a-week (SalarySport) Argentina international midfielder.
However, it now seems that Lo Celso could stay at Tottenham.
Giovani Lo Celso is a good player, and although he has not always had best of times at Tottenham Hotspur, perhaps under Postecoglou, things could change.
Lo Celso is a former Paris Saint-Germain player, and you do not get signed by PSG if you do not have talent.
The 27-year-old is a very good and dynamic attacking midfielder who would make Tottenham better.
Under Postecoglou, the Argentina international could improve and add facets to his game.
Lo Celso has made 55 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The Argentine star has scored one goal and given three assists in those games.
Tottenham are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, and Lo Celso could play a major role in that quest.
