Here are the Tottenham teams our two Spurs reporters would select for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Bournemouth
Ange Postecoglou will be looking to continue to harness the positive feelings at Tottenham Hotspur as the team travel to Bournemouth.
The Australian enjoyed his first Premier League win in style with a 2-0 victory against Manchester United in his first home league game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs played with a style and attacking swagger under Postecoglou that the fans have been waiting to see for a number of years.
Now with four points on the board from their opening games against Brentford and United, Tottenham make their way to the south coast and the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth.
We asked our Tottenham correspondents Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest to name the team they would select to face the Cherries on Saturday afternoon.
All eyes will be on the fitness of James Maddison as the midfielder left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on crutches with a protective boot on his right foot. The expectation is that he is at least likely to be a doubt for the match at Bournemouth.
If the England international is out then that gives a Giovani Lo Celso a chance to show what he can do on the left of Postecoglou’s midfield three.
The Argentine impressed the Spurs boss during pre-season and the Australian said he wanted to keep the midfielder at the club for the campaign ahead.
Elsewhere the Tottenham head coach will have to decide whether to make any more changes to a winning team. He might be tempted to bring in Emerson Royal for an away game over Pedro Porro but the Spaniard impressed against United and Postecoglou will want to take the game to their south coast hosts with Porro’s extra attacking ability.

The main concern for Tottenham heading into Saturday’s game is regarding Maddison. If the player is not able to feature in the Bournemouth encounter, it should be a relatively straightforward decision for Postecoglou.
