Fans celebrates as Isak nominated for Budweiser Premier League Goal of the Month

Alexander Isak’s stunning finish against Aston Villa has earned him a nomination for the Budweiser Premier League Goal of the Month award for August.

The Swedish striker scored twice in the Magpies’ 5-1 thumping of Aston Villa on the first day of the 2023/24 season, earning a Premier League Goal of the Month nomination for his second goal against the Villans.

In front of the Gallowgate End, the 23-year-old attacker dispossessed Villa defender Ezri Konsa before showing wonderful poise to brilliantly dink the ball past World Cup-winning goalkeeper Emiliano Martnez.
