Newcastle is interested in Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, Leicester’s James Maddison, Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, and Bristol City sensation Alex Scott ahead of the summer transfer window, according to the Mirror.
According to the report, Maddison remains a top target, but we may face stiff competition, with Man City and Tottenham both considering end-of-season moves.
Tierney, who is struggling to get ahead of Oleksandr Zinchenko at Arsenal, is thought to be open to a move to Newcastle, who appear to be looking for a more offensive left-back.
Ferguson, 18, could be an ideal signing, learning and developing alongside the aging Callum Wilson and providing a different option to the electric Alexander Isak. However, after an impressive debut season with Brighton, he will not be cheap.
Scott is another youngster who has been tipped to be a future star, and he has already piqued the interest of a number of clubs after impressing in the Championship with Bristol City.
According to the Mirror, we have sent scouts to watch the England U20 talent and are “ready” to increase our interest, with Tottenham, Wolves, West Ham, and Crystal Palace also interested.
