On Friday, Lions coach Dan Campbell addressed the coaching opportunity at his alma institution, Texas A&M, making his first public comment since rumors linked him to the position.
Campbell dodged a question about whether Texas A&M contacted him, but he made it obvious that he is not a candidate for the role.
“Maybe,” Campbell answered when asked if the Aggies contacted him. “But that’s fine. I know a few individuals there, and I enjoy my school. That is my alma mater, and I want to help them in every way I can, including coaching for them.”
