Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 exits has fueled speculation about who will leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Renato Sanches was one of four midfielders brought in by sporting director Luis Camps last year, but the Portugal international could be done.
According to L’Equipe (via Sempre Milan), PSG may allow Sanches to leave, and AC Milan could be a possible destination.
However, there’s a catch, the Italian club might not be keen on purchasing the player outright. Instead, a loan deal might entice Milan, who were in on the player last summer but opted to reunite with his former manager Christophe Galtier with PSG paying a €15 million fee to Lille OSC.
After a difficult 2022-23 season, perhaps Sanches needs to return to Italian football to get his career back on track, which appeared to be on the right track during his time at Lille.
Because Campos may be overhauling the midfield again, the 25-year-old could be tempted to accept a loan offer.
