Bayern Munich fans in shock as England best defensive midfielder to join Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich has joined the competition to recruit Declan Rice from West Ham this summer.

According to Sport 1, Bayern Munich are interested in West Ham captain Declan Rice, but the 24-year-old is reportedly too expensive for the German club.

Hammers manager David Moyes is reportedly asking for £120 million for Rice’s signature this summer (Sky Sports). It remains to be seen whether West Ham can acquire that amount of money for Dec.

A bidding war would undoubtedly help us achieve the best price for Rice, and it appears that this may be the case this summer…

According to Sport 1, the Allianz Arena’s powers that be are considering a dramatic summer move to sign the West Ham captain.

Rice, though, is said to be far too pricey for the Bundesliga giants, and as a result, they may instead focus their attention on Ajax ace Edson Alvarez.

Losing Rice will be a bitter pill for Hammers fans to swallow this summer. However, for obvious reasons, relocating abroad in December would be the best outcome for us.

Ex-Hammer Rice has been regarded as a ‘fantastic’ player by James Collins (talkSPORT), and he is correct. In fact, it could be claimed that the 24-year-old is the finest at what he does in the world, or at least among the best.

Declan Rice is easily good enough to play for any club in the world, and he’d start for Bayern Munich in my opinion.

However, I believe the 24-year-old will be far too pricey for the German club, and he will almost certainly end up at one of the Premier League’s major clubs this summer.
