3-2-4-1 Manchester City XI Vs Luton Town as Haaland starts and two new changes made

Luton Town and Manchester City, both reeling from recent close defeats, will clash in the Premier League at Kenilworth Road

Following painful single-goal defeats during the week, Luton Town, battling relegation, and a struggling Manchester City are set to face each other at Kenilworth Road on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Luton Town succumbed to a remarkable Arsenal comeback in a 4-3 loss against the league leaders, while the reigning champions, Manchester City, had a lackluster performance against Aston Villa, resulting in a deserved 1-0 defeat.

Pep Guardiola would probably opt for a 3-2-4-1 formation and might tweak the starting line up with a few changes. Jack Grealish is poised to play from the start while Rico Lewis makes way for Julian Alvarez in the final third.

3-2-4-1 Manchester City Predicted XI Vs Luton Town

Defence

Ederson will function in goal for the Mancunian club after conceding a goal in his last outing. Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake will form the three-man backline as they try to keep the opposition attackers at bay during the game.

Manuel Akanji will offer cover for the defensive positions as they take a spot on the bench.

Midfield

Rodri and John Stones will fill in as the holding midfielders as they focus on dominating the ball at the centre of the park.

Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish will play just ahead of Rodri and Stones as they will need to move the ball well and create enough chances for Man City to win this away encounter.

Matheus Nunes will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.

Attack

Erling Haaland will lead the charge for the Mancunian giants on the attacking end of the field. The Norwegian striker would be eager to find the back of the net this weekend.
