GOOD NEWS: Wolverines key player has passed away

Top offensive tackle from 2025 will visit Michigan football
In case you haven’t noticed, Michigan football’s recruiting trail is beginning to heat up. The Wolverines are beginning to demonstrate their aggressive recruiting approach, as head coach Sherrone Moore predicted.

We continue to be in the middle of a hiring freeze. Early next month is when that ends, and Michigan football has been busy setting up visits to bring recruits to campus. Mason Garcia, an offensive tackle rated four stars, paid us a visit on Monday.

In March, Andrew Babalola, a talented offensive tackle who is on the verge of being a five-star recruit, is scheduled to visit Ann Arbor, according to Michigan football offensive line coach Grant Newsome.

Football from Michigan will host Elite OT.
Babalola embodies everything that makes an offensive lineman great. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, this 6-foot-6, 280-pound player is ranked 26th overall in the 247 Sports composite rankings. Additionally, he is the 2025 class’s fourth-ranked offensive tackle.

Although Michigan football had already extended an offer to the highly-regarded Midwest prospect in September, Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider reports that Babalola has scheduled a visit for March 22. There is already a formal visit planned to Oklahoma. Nebraska and Kansas State are also deeply engaged.

Despite the fact that he currently has no family in Michigan, Babalola told Marich that the offer “was special” because he was born there. Additionally, he has a close relationship with offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, who committed to Michigan in the 2024 class.
