Millwall vs Birmingham City: First Championship injury news: 6 ruled out, 3 doubtful
The latest injury and team news ahead of Birmingham City’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Millwall on Saturday.

Birmingham City will travel to The Den to take on Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday, taking on one of their direct relegation rivals.

The teams are currently separated on points and places, with Millwall leading by one point and a further one point ahead on goal difference. Both teams look back, closely followed by Stoke City and Sheffield Wednesday.

The two teams drew 1-1 in September. Kevin Nisbet took the lead, but Jay Stansfield equalized for the hosts. Birmingham are unbeaten in their last four games against Millwall and will be hoping to maintain that record.

We bring you the latest injury and team news ahead of kick-off at The Den. Dion Sanderson has been suspended for three games for the second time. He received a red card against Sunderland and his appeal was rejected.

As a result, the player has already missed the trip to Hull and will also miss next Tuesday’s game against Middlesbrough. Christian Bielik has suffered a torn abdominal muscle and is expected to be sidelined for the next few weeks. Considering his performance as a central defender, his absence will be a big blow.

Mark Roberts was not in the squad for the game against Hull, making him absent for the second consecutive game for the Blues. With Roberts suffering from a calf strain and likely sidelined, the Blues have few defensive options. Alfie Chan is the only Birmingham player to be out for an extended period of time.

He suffered a serious knee injury in August and was out for the remainder of his season. Starring: Alfie Chan, Dion Sanderson, Christian Bielik. Doubtful: Mark Roberts. Tom Bradshaw is expected to miss much of the remainder of the campaign. He will be out for at least six weeks with an Achilles tendon injury.

“The growers saw a specialist on Monday,” manager Neil Harris told the South London Press. “Nothing has changed. We know he has an Achilles injury and will be out for at least six weeks, probably eight.

Millwall’s attacking options are limited, with Kevin Nisbet also sidelined with a long-term problem in recent weeks. He will be sidelined with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old has been out since the end of January.

On-loan Luton Town midfielder Alan Campbell has not featured in the team for the past four games. He has not played in the championship game against the Lions since mid-December.

Right-back Wes Harding has been left out of the squad for the past two days. He was named as a substitute in Harris’ first game, but has not featured since then.

Shaun Hutchinson has suffered several setbacks, playing in just nine league games due to a calf problem. He last appeared for the team against Hull City in early February, but has missed the last six games.

Participants: Kevin Nisbett, Sean Hutchinson, Tom Bradshaw. Doubt: Alan Campbell and Wes Harding.
