Jon Dahl Tomasson, the manager of Blackburn Rovers, is “catching the eye” of Leicester City, who are looking for a new manager for next season and beyond.
If Leicester were relegated to the Championship, he would be a viable contender to succeed Dean Smith next season.
Graham Potter would be the top option contender if City were to battle back and avoid relegation. However, if
second-tier football is to be played next season, Tomasson will be considered, according to the Daily Mail.
Tomasson has been a standout for Blackburn Rovers this season, keeping them in the play-off hunt for much of the season despite a limited playing budget.
His Rovers team knocked City out of the FA Cup in the fifth round on February 28 at King Power Stadium. He then led his team to seventh place, just missing out on the playoffs on goal differential on the final day of the season.
Russell Martin of Swansea, who has previously been associated with City, has been identified as another contender for the top post.
