Liverpool is now attempting to sign the Premier League’s most dangerous midfield wizard.

Liverpool is said to be ‘pushing hard’ for Mason Mount, while Declan Rice is linked with a return to Manchester City.

LIVERPOOL IS ‘PUSHING HARD FOR THE MOUNTAIN
We already knew that Liverpool is interested in Mason Mount as his contract with Chelsea expires next summer, but the Daily Mail reports that the Reds are ‘pushing hard’ for the England international midfielder.

Mount is thought to want to triple his £80,000-a-week salary to compete with some of Chelsea’s biggest stars and signings, though failing to score a goal in 2023 does not help his case. Graham Potter, Chelsea’s manager, has used him more sparingly than previous managers; he was on the bench this week against West Ham and Borussia Dortmund.

In other Chelsea news, Juventus have decided to transfer Denis Zakaria to the Premier League club at the end of his loan spell, believing he is worth £27 million after his impressive performances. Andrey Santos will return to Brazil for a loan spell with Palmeiras until December.

ROCK ON, TAMMY

From transfer rumors about a current Chelsea player to rumors about a former Chelsea player… According to 90 Minutes, Aston Villa is interested in re-signing Tammy Abraham this summer.

Abraham scored 25 goals on loan at Villa in 2018/19 before returning to Chelsea and scoring 15 goals. He was then sold to Roma for £30 million in the summer of 2021, where he has scored 23 goals in 59 Serie A games, though he has only six goals this season. It’s unclear why he’s now worth more than £40 million.

Aston Villa is also said to be interested in Jonathan David and Marcus Thuram as they seek a reliable striker to compete with Ollie Watkins, who has 31 Premier League goals in 93 games.
