Leicester City has identified Nabil Fekir as a potential James Maddison replacement if he leaves

In the summer, the Foxes could lose James Maddison to another club. Leicester has identified Fekir as a potential replacement if he leaves because Brendan Rodgers likes the Frenchman’s profile.

Betis want €30 million to sanction Fekir’s sale, and either Newcastle or Leicester could easily meet that demand.

According to Fichajes.net, Newcastle United and Leicester City are interested in signing Real Betis’ Nabil Fekir this summer.

The attacking midfielder’s contract expires in 2026, but the La Liga club is aware that he will not be able to stay after this season. As a result, they are willing to sell him and have set a €30 million asking price.

Newcastle and Leicester are among the clubs interested in signing Fekir in the next transfer window.

The Magpies were unable to sign the Frenchman last summer due to a lack of agreement with Betis. Eddie Howe’s side is back in the hunt for him and will make one last attempt to close’ his transfer at the end of the season.

Newcastle will have to be wary of Leicester, who are also interested in the player.
