Die Roten is keeping a close eye on the situation of PSG’s two young talents, according to Goal. The Bavarian club has been in contact with El Chadaille Bitshiabu (17) and Warren Zaire-Emery on a regular basis (16). Despite the fact that both players have signed professional contracts with PSG, Rekordmeister remains interested in both.
Last week, Zaire-Emery started in midfield against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16. The youngster put in a strong performance against a tough opponent. Meanwhile, Bitshiabu has appeared for PSG this season in Ligue 1 and domestic cup competitions. For the French club, the youngster has played in central defense.
PSG is unlikely to part ways with either youngster anytime soon because they are already part of the first-team squad. However, if these young players decide to leave Paris for other projects, Bayern Munich will be ready to pounce.
When Hasan Salihamidzic signed Tanguy Nianzou on a free transfer in 2020, the French team was irritated with Die Roten. The French defender was in PSG’s first team, but he decided not to sign a new contract. Rekordmeister allowed him to join Sevilla with a buyback clause last summer because they are still confident in his ability to shine in the future.
Bayern will keep an eye on Bitshiabu and Zaire-situation Emery’s in the long run, even if they are not immediate transfer targets. For the time being, Die Roten’s summer priorities will be to strengthen the attack with a striker and, most likely, renegotiate a permanent deal for Joao Cancelo.
