Everton released strong lineup to face West Ham as two key changes made

Beto looks set to miss out on being named in the starting lineup once again for Everton against West Ham on Sunday (29 October).

The Portuguese forward came off the bench for the Toffees against Liverpool on Saturday (21 October), but he couldn’t prevent his side from falling to a 2-0 defeat.

Sean Dyche is going to be forced into making at least one change to his lineup after defender Ashley Young received a red card against the Reds and will be suspended for the trip to the London Stadium.

The Blues boss is, therefore, predicted to just make one alteration against the Hammers.

Jordan Pickford will once again start in goal at the London Stadium after his form in between the sticks has improved in recent weeks on the back of a shaky start to the campaign.

Nathan Patterson will be the only man to come into the side that lineup at Anfield as he looks to take his opportunity at right-back in the absence of Young.

James Tarkowski will look to skipper the Toffees to an important three points when he lines up in central defence alongside the emerging Jarrad Branthwaite, who has impressed since forcing his way into the starting lineup.

Vitaliy Mykolenko will have the extremely difficult job of trying to keep the in-form Jarrod Bowen quiet as the winger will be looking to steal in behind the left-back at every opportunity.

Amadou Onana and James Garner will continue in deeper midfield roles as they look to stop a revamped Irons midfielder from taking control of the game on their home turf.

Abdoulaye Doucoure will be the man charged with playing in an advanced midfield role behind the main striker as he looks to add numbers in midfield while also providing an attacking outlet going forward.

After a promising start to life on Merseyside, Jack Harrison will once again get the nod on the right-hand side of the forward line, where he will look to cut inside and cause the Irons defence problems.

Dwight McNeil will operate on the left of the front three and, while his main role will be to get crosses into the box, he will have to get back and support Mykolenko defensively to counteract the threat provided by Bowen.

Leading the line will be Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who will have to take any chances that come his way if the Blues are to come away with a positive result from East London.
