Deal reactivated as Celtic Forest genuinely tried to sign £55,000-a-week Man City player in January

Danny Wilson acknowledges that Celtic desired him prior to the Rangers’ comeback and says, “I don’t know what I would have done.”


Prior to his second Rangers stint, Danny Wilson disclosed that CELTIC expressed interest in him. He acknowledges that he is unsure of his course of action had negotiations been more solidified.

After spending time in the MLS, the former Hearts defender is currently playing in the Scottish Championship with Queen’s Park. Had he not admitted to having conversations with agents as he was leaving Tynecastle, he might have become one of the select few players to represent both clubs on the Glasgow divide. After previously leaving the club to play for English powerhouse Liverpool, he eventually made his way back to Ibrox.

There were talks with agents, he said to the Scottish Sun. However, the times they arrived weren’t the best. At the time, I had no interest in it.
