In a recent statement featured on the team website, Henry expressed his determination, stating, “I really want to hold that trophy up at the end of the year. But it starts right now putting the work in.”

Henry’s arrival in Baltimore marks a significant move after eight seasons as a standout running back for the Tennessee Titans. Last month, he hit free agency for the first time in his career and subsequently signed with the Ravens, adding another dynamic talent to a team on the cusp of Super Bowl contention.

Since inking his two-year, $16 million contract, Henry has wasted no time in immersing himself within the Ravens’ organization. He has been actively bonding with teammates and demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the team’s championship aspirations.

“It’s been fun getting to know everybody, putting the work in, something I love to do,” Henry remarked, highlighting his eagerness to contribute positively to the team. “I’m the new guy on the block. I wanted to make sure that I show up, show my teammates and this organization that I’m here, I’m committed.”

Henry, a five-time 1,000-yard rusher with the Titans, joins a Ravens team that led the league in rushing yards last season, with quarterback Lamar Jackson as the leading rusher.

The prospect of a tandem featuring Henry and Jackson has sparked excitement among fans and analysts alike, positioning Baltimore as one of the league’s most formidable rushing offenses for the upcoming season.

“Lamar’s a cool guy,” Henry said of his new backfield partner. “You can tell he’s a great leader by how everybody flocks to him. He has great energy as well.”

Even Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith, who will witness the duo’s performance from the sidelines, expressed anticipation for what Henry and Jackson could achieve together.

“I think it’s a great piece added to us, and I think it’s going to help us get to where we want to be,” Smith remarked, underscoring the impact Henry’s addition could have on the team’s overall success.
