Is LaMelo Ball playing? Giannis Antetokounmpo? Hornets-Bucs Injury Report, February 27th

Riding on momentum, the Charlotte Hornets arrive in Milwaukee on Tuesday night and face their toughest test of the trip, defeating the Bucks 37-21. The Hornets enter the game in 13th place in the East with a record of 15 wins and 42 losses this season but have won five of six games. The Bucks are in third place in the East Division and have won consecutive games, including a sweep of the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

Both teams have struggled to live up to expectations this season, but each has been playing their best basketball of the season as of late. The Bucks are focused on competing for a title and preparing for the playoffs under new coach Doc Rivers.

The Hornets’ ambitions may not be that high (at least this season), but that doesn’t mean the dream of being on the field is completely dead. Building wins, building winning habits, and building a winning culture remain extremely important.

Both teams have played well recently, but enter Tuesday night’s game with long-term injury reports to several key players. Wasp injury report

Unfortunately, as is often the case at this point, LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Mark Williams (back) were sidelined for separate games. Ball is aiming to return to action in late January and was seen warming up before games. However, he hasn’t played in more than a month and the team hasn’t given any concrete information yet. Seth Curry (hip) was reclassified as probable after going down late in Portland’s game against the Blazers, and Davis Bertans (knee) was reclassified as questionable after missing the final two games. Bucks injury report

The Bucks will be without Khris Middleton, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury since early February. Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as “possible” due to a knee issue, but is not expected to miss time due to injury and is expected to suit up.

According to Fiserv Forum, the Bucks are currently the favorites to win the home title with 14.5 points. The two teams will play Thursday night in Charlotte.
