List of Two Celtics star Ruled Out for Saturday’s Game vs Pelicans

The Celtics surprisingly leave Atlanta having gone 0-2 in their mini-series against the Hawks. But after Dejounte Murray buried a game-winning shot to propel Atlanta to a 123-122 overtime win on Thursday, Boston must quickly turn the page.

The C’s are on to a Saturday showdown against the New Orleans Pelicans in the Big Easy. The hosts are 45-28 overall, including 7-3 in their last ten tilts, and fifth in the Western Conference standings.

The visitors’ initial injury report suggests they’ll have their starting lineup intact for the second straight game after taking the court without at least one member of the first unit since Mar. 7.

However, the Celtics will be without Jaden Springer due to left knee tendinopathy, which also kept him out of Thursday’s loss.

JD Davison, who sprained his left ankle in a G League game on Wednesday night, is also unavailable for Saturday’s contest. Fellow two-way players Neemias Queta and Drew Peterson will also be inactive on Saturday.

As for the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram (left knee contusion) and Jose Alvarado (right oblique strain) are out. Dyson Daniels, who’s recovering from a left knee injury, is probable to play.
