Luton Town star man shown the exit door as Tottenham maintain hot race to sign 25year old player

GiveMeSport have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are now considering a move for Luton Town centre-back Gabriel Osho, who is expected to be available on a free transfer this summer.

Osho has had an impressive debut season in the Premier League but his future remains up in the air as his contract at Kenilworth Road runs out this June.

GiveMeSport say that the 25-year-old’s displays in the top flight this campaign have caught the attention of several sides, including Tottenham.

Spurs looking at Gabriel Osho from Luton

The report claims that Ange Postecoglou is keen on bolstering his options at centre-back this summer and that Tottenham are looking at homegrown options and free agents.

Osho is thus thought to appeal to the North London club, as do Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo and Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly, who also tick those boxes.

GiveMeSport reveal that another reason why the Luton star is an attractive option for the Lilywhites is his versatility, with the Englishman capable of playing as a number six.

However, the publication adds that Tottenham are not Osho’s only admirers, with the centre-back’s situation also being watched closely by Fulham and Aston Villa.

One can understand why Tottenham are looking for inexpensive, homegrown options for the fourth-choice centre-back role. That would allow Postecoglou’s men to spend the bulk of their summer transfer budget on a top-class number six and a quality forward.
