MAN CITY DEFEATS VILLA CRUCIALLY THANKS TO A STUNNING HAT TRICK FROM FODEN.

Sam Allardyce says Man City need to do one thing to win the Premier League title
The Citizens have seven games left in their latest Premier League campaign to try and become the first side to win four top-flight English titles in a row.

However, they currently find themselves one point behind Arsenal and Liverpool in the league table.

At this crucial stage of the season, one former Premier League manager has shared his thoughts on the situation, mentioning one thing he thinks Pep Guardiola’s side need to do so they can end up being victorious in yet another title race.
Speaking in a recent edition of the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Allardyce had this to say when asked who he thinks will win the Premier League title this season and what City need to do to make sure they end up lifting the trophy again.
He said: “Only because I want them to, is Man City. I’ve always been a lover of Pep, and the quality of the squad and the football they play.

“Based on experience and knowledge and squad size, Man City only have to shore their defence up a little bit more to do it.

“Pep says this: ‘We can only win the league if we win every game this season,’ and I think he’s right.”
With 31 games played in the league, the Manchester club have conceded 31 goals, one more than Liverpool and seven more than Arsenal.

Looking back to their previous title-winning season, City conceded 33 goals in total, leaving them with the joint-best defensive record in the division alongside Newcastle United.

Having only managed to keep nine clean sheets this season, it’s understandable why Allardyce thinks the Blues need to sharpen up defensively if they want to lift the Premier League trophy.
